Bottled-to-Order for You to Pickup Fresh
Pickup at the farm for free, or choose a local pickup spot on page 2 of signup ($1/pickup fee).
We'll text/email you a reminder with the address, instructions, and time on pickup day. Don't forget to return your jars!

We'll text/email you each week before we bottle, and you'll have until that week's cutoff time (48 hours before your scheduled pickup time) to add extras to your order or modify your number of half or full gallons. We'll send you another alert when it's ready for pickup!
If you are happy with your previous order, you don’t need to do anything- it will automatically roll over to the next week!
The milk has a conservative shelf life of approximately two weeks- likely closer to three if unopened. With weekly delivery, we’re confident you won’t experience your milk souring before your next delivery shows up!
Your milk is generally no more than two days old by the time we deliver to your location- sometimes fresher!
Life on the farm never stops! Your herdshare payment is to cover your share of the boarding and labor costs associated with securing your space. If you cannot pick up a week's milk, you can have a designee pick it up or we will repurpose your milk to another use. If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances, please reach out to us and we will come up with a solution!
The cows have 24/7 access to a chemical free, high quality Alfalfa/Orchard hay mix. Additionally, they are fed approximately 10-15lbs of certified organic, non-gmo, corn/soy free grain as a daily dietary supplement to keep their calories up. And, of course, they have access to approximately eight acres of chemical free, natural pasture!
Our cows’ health is the most important thing to our dairy! After careful consideration, we settled on three annual vaccines. All three are for serious disorders that can kill the cow. All are dead-virus vaccines, and do not pass to the milk. All three are heavily researched and have been around for a considerable period of time. For a specific list, feel free to reach out to us!
Our cows are raised on natural grass, alfalfa, grain and vitamins/minerals- nothing else. They are never given any kind of hormone supplement. If their health requires a specific antibiotic intervention, that cow’s milk is strictly removed from the herdshare until all antibiotic residue is completely passed through the cow’s system.
We take sanitary practices extremely seriously! We bring the cows in to be milked one at a time. Each cow’s teats and surrounding udder are cleaned with a terry cloth towel with warm water and soap. A second towel is then used with plain warm water to remove any soap residue. The teats are then sanitized with an iodine solution to remove any bacteria. The teats are then hand milked to expel any debris or bacteria that may be in the teat opening that cannot be reached by towel. They are then milked by machine and their teats are re-sanitized after milking before being dried off and sent back to pasture! Each towel is used only once before it is washed and dried in a dedicated washer and dryer.
Any equipment that touches your milk is cleaned every time it is used. In the case of the milker and tubing, it is cleaned twice a day. The milk coolers and bottling equipment are cleaned approximately every other day, based on milk production and bottling demands. The process to clean all the equipment is four steps- soapy water, a bleach solution, a vinegar solution and clean water rinse- all with hot water. Our jars and lids are washed before being filled with milk via a dedicated dishwasher regardless of how clean they look returning from customers. General cleaning to keep things neat, clean and organized is done on a daily basis as needed.
By joining our herdshare, you agree to our member terms and agreement. In Colorado, all raw dairy herdshares must be conducted via a private membership association or community supported agriculture group. These are private, member only, organizations. In short, our member terms and agreement state that you understand that the milk you receive is not pasteurized or homogenized, and you are assuming any risks of its use. The terms also stipulate our obligations to you as your boarder, and your obligations to us as members. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with specific questions!
Just ask! You can use the website’s communication function- or reach out to us directly at 520-245-0577.
