Our Journey

Like many of you, our journey started with full time jobs, overcrowded schedules, and trips through the drive through. In 2024, we decided to start a new life. One filled with family, faith, agriculture and enjoying the simple things again.

We took a chance, and jumped on an opportunity to create a multi-generational home centered around local farming. We chose to provide our children a legacy alongside our cows and chickens.

Here at Plum Feather, we believe in local farming, local community, hard work and providing our customers nutritious, organic options. Join us along the way as we build community and enjoy fresh, raw milk!

Quality

We are dedicated to producing the highest quality raw milk through strict sanitation practices and sustainable farming. Our A2/A2 Jersey cows are cared for with love and respect, ensuring a superior product for our community.

Our cows are fed untreated Orchard hay and alfalfa, pastured on natural, healthy land and supplemented with organic corn and soy free grain.

As they say, cleanliness is next to godliness, and we take that to heart. Everything that touches your milk is rigorously cleaned using a multi step process each and every time it is used.

We aim to keep our barn, our pasture, and of course our cows clean and healthy. But don't take our word for it- come tour the farm!

Community

At Plum Feather Farm, community isn't just a catch phrase- it really is a core value. What started as a simple goal to build a generational home for our children and our parents quickly spread to include new friends and strong bonds with our local community.

We believe that every customer is part of our family. We want to know you- and we want you to know us! Bring your family and say hello. Feed a goat, pet a pig, meet the cows. Either way, when you join our herd, you join our family.

As we grow, we hope to continue offering new farm fresh products to our foundation of quality dairy. As part of the family, you'll be on the ground floor of each new chapter of our journey!

Sustainability is at the heart of our mission. We're committed to eco-friendly practices and responsible farming, ensuring our commitment to the land and our cows aligns with our long-term vision for a healthy community.

Generations of farmers paved the way for us, and we want to honor their wisdom and knowledge by doing what's right by our animals and our land.

Our animals' health is the pulse of our farm. We monitor it closely, and jump at the first sign something is off.

We have a close relationship with our local veterinarian, who is a regional expert on bovine health.
